Privacy Policy
Updated: Nov 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Roast My App LLC ("Roast My App", "we", "us") collects when you visit www.roastmyapp.co or work with us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, write to [email protected].
Who we are
Roast My App LLC is a limited liability company registered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect, and how
- When you browse the site: pages you view, clicks and scrolling, the page you came from, your browser, device and operating system, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We collect this with Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session recordings) and PostHog. These tools run only on www.roastmyapp.co.
- To deliver and protect the site: our host Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to serve pages, block attacks and measure traffic (Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no cookies).
- When you sign up or apply: the details you type into our forms, for example your name and email address in a Kit sign-up form, and the answers in our Tally free-audit application (such as your name, email address, app name and app details).
- When you contact us: the messages, name, phone number or email address you send us by WhatsApp, email or LinkedIn.
- When you buy a plan: Stripe processes your payment. We receive your name, email address, billing details and the payment status; we never see or store your full card number.
- When we work together: the information you share for the engagement, such as access to your analytics, paywall or subscription tools, screenshots and app data. We use it only to deliver the work you hired us for. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement on request.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and PostHog store cookies or similar identifiers in your browser so they can recognise repeat visits and measure how the site is used. They run only on www.roastmyapp.co. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site keeps working without them. If you would like us to delete analytics data linked to you, write to us.
How we use your data
- to run, secure and improve the site, and to understand which pages and resources help visitors;
- to answer your questions and review your free-audit application;
- to deliver, invoice and support the services you buy from us;
- to send you emails you signed up for (every email has an unsubscribe link);
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal bases (EU and UK visitors)
- Consent: newsletter emails and, where the law requires it, analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract: handling your application and delivering the services you buy.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the site secure, understanding how it is used and answering your messages.
- Legal obligation: keeping billing records.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run the site and the business, under their own privacy terms: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity), PostHog (product analytics), Kit (email sign-ups and newsletters), Tally (forms), Stripe (payments), Meta (WhatsApp) and LinkedIn. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
International transfers
Our providers and our team work from several countries, including the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country. Where EU or UK law applies, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above: messages and free-audit applications for up to 24 months, client and billing records for 7 years (as tax and accounting law requires), and analytics data for the retention period set in each analytics tool (14 months in Google Analytics).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you gave. California residents can also ask what personal information we collected; we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site and our services are meant for businesses. They are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site or by email to the people it affects.
